Road cycling with spirit.

Gusto Cycling Club is a fast, fun road cycling brand and club built for riders who want more than a random solo spin.

GCC is for riders who enjoy pace, structure, effort and good company on the road. We ride with purpose, we respect the group, and we believe cycling should feel serious without becoming boring.

We are starting small, but with ambition: strong rides, clean kit, sharp branding, café culture, sponsor partnerships and a road cycling identity people are proud to wear.

This is not a casual social-only club. GCC is built for road cyclists who can ride, hold a wheel, respect the road and bring energy to the group.

How we ride

GCC is for capable road riders. Not beginner, not elite. Just structured, disciplined group riding.

Ride safely. Hold your line. Respect the bunch.

B Group
27–30 km/h rolling average
Strong, controlled group riding.

A Group
31–35 km/h rolling average
Faster sections, harder pulls, sustained efforts.

Pace depends on route, wind, elevation, traffic and group size.

Ride hard. Ride clean. Ride with gusto.

The GCC standard

Not every GCC ride needs a fixed plan.

Riders can use the GCC WhatsApp group to post short, sharp spins whenever they have time: lunch rides, after-work leg openers, quick local loops or midweek efforts.

Post the route, distance, meeting point, rough pace and whether the ride is drop or no-drop.

These rides are usually local, focused and direct. Sometimes steady. Sometimes full gas. Always road-focused.

Bring your own kit, mobile, food, fluids and repair tools. Informal ride, same GCC standard: ride safely, hold your line, respect the bunch and bring the right attitude.

Quick ride. Clear route. Proper effort.

Anytime WhatsApp Spin

All official GCC rides are no-drop rides.

That does not mean slow. It means structured, disciplined group riding. We ride hard, but we ride together.

Every GCC ride will be clearly communicated before the start, including route, distance, pace, elevation and group level.

Riders are expected to bring a charged mobile, route access, repair kit, spare tube or plugs, pump or CO₂, food and fluids.

B Group is the GCC entry level: capable riders who can ride safely in a bunch, hold a wheel, communicate clearly and manage a strong but controlled pace.

A Group is the highest GCC level: stronger riders comfortable with higher speeds, harder pulls, faster rolling sections and sustained efforts.

On climbs or harder sections, riders may naturally split, but the group regroups at agreed points.

GCC is not an elite racing team, but it does set a standard.

Ride safely. Hold your line. Communicate clearly. Respect the bunch. Bring your own kit. Ride with the right attitude.

Ride hard. Ride clean. Ride with gusto.

Mission statement

Gusto Cycling Club exists to build a recognised road cycling club in Belgium, bringing together committed riders who want to train, ride, improve and represent the club with pride.

Our immediate mission is to grow GCC to a minimum of 30 members and establish the club as a non-profit association, with the aim of becoming affiliated with the Fédération Cycliste Wallonie-Bruxelles.

Through this affiliation, we want to give members the opportunity to ride together as an official club, enter events for the enjoyment of the sport, and support those who wish to obtain a race licence and compete.

GCC is built for serious road cycling, but our broader purpose is positive: to encourage cycling as a healthy, disciplined and enjoyable activity across age groups, while helping inspire the next generation of riders.

We aim to create a strong club, a recognised name and a cycling identity that riders are proud to wear, represent and help grow.

Ride hard. Ride clean. Ride with gusto.
